Help / Getting started and onboarding
Set your brand colour
Enter one colour. Everything your clients see is generated from it.
How to do it
In the tenant admin, open Branding and enter your brand colour as a six-digit hex value. Your designer has it; so does your logo file.
The screen generates a full range of shades from that one colour, measures every text and background pairing it produces, and shows you the result before you save.
What proves it worked
The save returns a contrast report. It lists every pairing, in light mode and dark, with the measured ratio beside it. Ten measurements, and all ten at or above 4.5 to 1.
Not "it looks fine". A measured number per pairing, which is the difference between a palette that reads and a palette that reads for the person who chose it.
When it is refused
If any pairing measures below the minimum, the save is refused and the report tells you which pairing, in which mode, and the number it measured.
There is no way to save it anyway. That is deliberate: a palette saved with a warning attached is a palette that ships, and the person it fails is a client of yours reading a settlement date on their phone in daylight.
The usual cause is a light, washed-out brand colour with white text on it. It looks correct in a logo, where the text is large and dark. At body-text size on a button it fails. The fix is almost always to save the light colour as your logo and give the product a darker version of the same hue for buttons and links.
What we do not let you change
Status colours. Overdue stays the same red for every tenant, and so do the certainty markers that tell a client how confident an estimate is. If those took your brand colour, a client who used two agencies would have to relearn what a colour means, and the one time that matters is the one time they are reading quickly.
Changing it later
Enter a new colour and save. The change is live on the next page load: each saved palette carries its own version, so nobody is holding a cached copy of the old one.
